Braja Hari Das, among ISKCON India’s most respected and beloved leaders, Temple President of the Juhu temple (Mumbai), has been hospitalized with COVID-19. He is undergoing treatment in good medical hands and he is stable. No other case of COVID-19 has been detected. We extend our heartfelt prayers for Braja Hari Das and the ISKCON Juhu devotee community. ISKCON Juhu’s official statement: We wish to share with the ISKCON devotee community that unfortunately one positive case of COVID-19 has been detected at ISKCON Juhu. The respective devotee has been moved to hospital and is receiving medical care. All devotees who were in any close proximity of the affected devotee have been quarantined.ISKCON Juhu temple premises have been sanitized. All necessary measures have been put in place to regularly sanitise the area. All entry and exit from the main gate is closed till further notice. Devotees at ISKCON Juhu are following all the guidelines suggested by the local Municipal Corporation, Health officers & Police who have inspected the area and management cooperating with them to arrest any further spread of virus. Social distancing, wearing of mask, washing hands regularly with alcohol or soap, isolation of any unwell devotees and all related preventive measures have been put in place at the temple. Deity worship shall continue. Entry of devotees in temple hall is restricted. ISKCON Juhu has discontinued its prasadam distribution program. The management at ISKCON Juhu wishes to assure one and all that it is taking all preventive measures to safeguard the devotees inside the temple premises and is in constant touch with the concerned govt. & health authorities.
